Due to telehealth restrictions, the following disorders are best treated in-person: psychosis, active self-harm, suicidal thoughts, recent psychiatric hospitalization, crisis care and substance abuse. Most providers do not prescribe controlled substances during the intake appointment and prescribe them sparingly over the telehealth platform due to the need for additional monitoring.

Who we are
Spruce provides practice management services to independent Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners so that they can efficiently and effectively run their private practices. Spruce also helps connect patients, who are looking for medication management, with a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who best fits their needs.
Because Spruce takes on the administrative tasks, providers can really focus on delivering high quality mental healthcare.
