Telehealth Access Support
Troubleshooting Tips for Patients
Confirm that you've received an email for your scheduled telehealth appointment from AdvancedMD. The email contains essential details, including the date, start time, and a "Join the appointment" link. Ensure you are attempting to attend your appointment at the scheduled time.
If your appointment is scheduled for today, or within the next two days, and you haven't received the email notification, please reach out to us at (206) 486-1500. We can promptly resend the email from our end.
Please note: The email will come from noreply@advancedmd.com. If you cannot find the email, please check your Spam/Junk email folders, or search for the email address. Add the email to your Contacts/Safe Senders list for future visits!
Ensure you have a stable and reliable internet connection. Consider switching to a different network or restarting your router.
Check that the device you are using (computer, tablet, or smartphone) meets the system requirements for Zoom. Check for any device-specific issues that may impact your ability to join the meeting.
Make sure you have the latest version of the Zoom application installed on your device. Update the apps from the respective app stores if necessary.
If you are accessing the telehealth appointment through a web browser, clear your browser cache and cookies to avoid any issues related to stored data.
Help Articles:
Turn off and restart your computer, tablet, or smartphone. Rebooting your device can resolve many common technical glitches.
Check your firewall and antivirus settings to make sure they are not blocking Zoom. Adjust the settings if necessary to allow the application to run.
If possible, attempt to join the telehealth appointment using a different device to see if the issue persists. This helps identify whether the problem is device-specific.
If the problem seems to be Zoom-related, contact Zoom's support for further assistance. They can help with issues specific to their video conferencing platform.
Help Articles:
If issues accessing the appointment persist, kindly reach out to our front desk by phone at (206) 486-1500.
While our administrative team cannot offer technical support beyond the available resources here, we are happy to inform your provider that you are experiencing technical difficulties and attempt to facilitate a solution.
Please note: We advise joining the session 10 to 15 minutes early to allow ample time for troubleshooting any access issues. Failure to provide us with sufficient time or notice to address these issues efficiently may result in a late-cancellation fee (specific to each provider).
