Dr. Sarah Kuramoto

DNP, PMHNP-BC, CARN

(She/Her/Hers)

I enjoy working with individuals managing the high demands of modern life who feel stretched thin and need a dedicated space to focus on their mental health. My goal is to provide a supportive environment where you can pause, reflect, and nurture your well-being. I especially enjoy working with busy professionals, parents juggling multiple roles, those adjusting to life as new immigrants in the U.S., and 1.5-generation or “third-culture” adults who have grown up navigating multiple cultures.

I earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of Washington, where I developed a strong foundation in evidence-based, compassionate mental health care. Prior to becoming a DNP, I worked for over seven years serving adult populations in hospital and community settings, focusing on mental health and addiction.

From my personal experiences of growing up between two countries, I identify closely with “third culture kid” adults and immigrants. I am a Minority Fellowship Program Doctoral Fellow graduate (2023-2024). I am bilingual in both English and Japanese and are accepting clients in both languages.

Areas of focus: ADHD, Adjustment disorder, Anxiety, Bipolar, De-prescribing, Depression, Ethnic Minority Mental Health, Holistic Mental Health (focusing on nutrition, sleep, and exercise in addition to medications), OCD, and PTSD. Ages 18 - 64.

*I currently do not accept clients for therapy only.
