Dr. Portia Sharma
DNP, PMHNP-BC
(She/Her/Hers)
I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with a Doctor of Nursing Practice in the greater Seattle area. I earned my degree from the University of Washington. I bring over eight years of clinical experience working as a registered nurse in both inpatient and outpatient settings within an academic institution, including at the University of Washington Medical Center.

I am passionate about delivering compassionate care to adults and working alongside patients to understand their experiences, build trust, and develop treatment plans that are tailored to a unique value-based approach to care. I strive to create a safe and nonjudgmental space where you feel supported. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, inattention, mood disorders, or more complex psychiatric challenges, I’m here to walk with you on your journey toward stability and wellness. I provide evidence-based recommendations and will collaborate with you to create a treatment plan that’s individualized to your needs and aligned with your comfort, empowering you on your path to healing.

Outside of work, I prioritize connection and balance in my own life by enjoying and spending time with my family and friends. I like maintaining my well-being through outdoor activities such as running, hiking, or attending group exercise classes such as yoga, group power, step training, etc., at the YMCA.
I look forward to meeting you and supporting you on your mental health journey.
