I'm a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner offering comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and medication management. I believe my patients are the experts on their own lives, so I approach every treatment plan as a collaboration, working alongside each person to find what fits their goals and circumstances.
I earned both my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of Washington, where I developed a strong grounding in evidence-based care and a commitment to high clinical standards.
I enjoy working with adults, but for the past several years I've focused on children and adolescents in both outpatient and partial hospitalization settings. My goal is for young people to feel comfortable, seen, and validated as we work toward their personal and mental health goals together.
As a mother myself, I understand how much trust it takes for a parent to place their child's care in someone else's hands. I value the insight caregivers bring, and I see myself as one part of your family's support team.
Areas of focus: ADHD, anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar spectrum disorders, PTSD/trauma disorders, OCD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, de-prescribing (assisting in medication reduction or cessation when appropriate), life transitions, school avoidance. Ages 6 - 30.
