I am a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with a passion for helping individuals live life to their fullest potential. I became a nurse after volunteering in a special needs' orphanage and a pediatric intensive care unit in Romania, in which I saw firsthand the effects of trauma, and felt drawn to help others heal. Prior to becoming a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I worked as a registered nurse in a variety of clinical settings, including inpatient psychiatry, emergency psychiatry, emergency medicine, and public health.
I obtained a Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University, and have since gained experience working in inpatient psychiatry, outpatient psychiatry, PHP/IOP, community mental health, and in providing interventional treatments such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Spravato.
As a provider, I view working together as a collaborative partnership in helping you not only reach remission of your symptoms, but also find hope and long-term healing. I utilize evidence-based guidelines with a holistic and integrative lens, knowing that there is not a one-size-fits-all approach to healing. I look forward to meeting you and supporting you on your journey.
