I am a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner dedicated to developing trusting, collaborative, and effective working relationships with my clients. I believe in utilizing a holistic approach to mental health which can include psychotherapy, lifestyle and environmental modifications, and medication when necessary. The primary services I offer include comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnosis, medication management, as well as psychoeducation and brief therapeutic interventions. I rely heavily on the shared decision-making model of care and recognize and value of each client’s unique experiences. I will work together with you to create a tailored and evidenced-based treatment plan to optimize functioning and improve overall wellness.
Prior to joining Spruce, I worked in community mental health as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner treating children, adolescents, and young adults in a variety of treatment programs. I have additional training and supervision working with children and adolescents and have worked in teams collaborating with families, schools, therapists, and primary care providers. I am specifically interested in the care of children, adolescents, and young adults.
Areas of focus: ADHD, adjustment disorder, anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, navigating life transitions, and de-prescribing (assisting patients in reducing or stopping medications if appropriate). Ages 6-30.
