I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who can provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and medication management. I hold a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Washington. Most recently, I worked as a nurse practitioner at LightHeart Psychological Associates where I provided mental health care and psychiatric medication management in an outpatient setting. Prior to earning my doctorate degree, I gained many years of nursing experience in inpatient psychiatric crisis stabilization, oncology nursing, and wilderness therapy for adolescents and young adults.
I believe that mental health care is an individualized journey for each client and that a treatment approach should encompass those individual needs. I use a holistic approach and believe in treating the whole person. Collaboration with clients is of utmost importance to me. As your provider, I will actively listen to you and create a safe space to communicate at each visit. I strive to build relationships with patients based on trust, openness, vulnerability, and empathy. I work to provide trauma-informed care and integrate evidence-based practices into each session. We will work closely together to assure that you feel supported at each step of your mental health journey.
